With the marquee built, it was time to get it dressed. Vic & Adam had quite differing tastes; Vic loved the eclecticism that comes with traditional Indian Weddings, whilst Adam wanted something more classic and minimal without looking corporate.
We found a compromise by taking the Asian ’fire’, foliage and scents and using them with an ivory and green colour scheme for the main marquee to give it a warm and elegant feel.
Alison from Pollen Nation created some wonderful balls of foliage and fairy lights, which were hung from the ceiling to give the room some height, and used paperwhites in the most beautiful votives for their scent. The team from Pantiles Catering did a fantastic job to light and work around the candle table runners.
All of the candles were pre-lit to reduce the time it would take to light them before the wedding breakfast to 30 minutes – as with tables laid for 120 guests – that’s just over 1000 candles!
Once again we stood Jonanthan Ryan from People by Ryan in a corner to get a shot every 10 seconds to record the transformation, and this time no less than 10,000 pictures made up the time lapse.
